13.5 Config Wi-Fi Adaptor (TL-WN321G+) There are many different kinds of USB WiFi adaptors in 2.6.25.8 and 2.6.30.4 kernel. We select TL-WN321G+ (321 for short) to do detailed explaination (because we also provide its WinCE driver). For TL-WIN322G+ (322 for short), we can't find WinCE driver, so we only mention it's configuration here. Note: We use USB interface here. This step can only be finished in next tutorial, but since it's a network device, we are going to put it here. Enter into config menu, the configuration menu is as following: [*] Networking support ---> --- Networking support [*] Wireless ---> --- Wireless {*} Improved wireless configuration API [ ] cfg80211 regulatory debugging [ ] Old wireless static regulatory definitions -*- Wireless extensions [ ] Wireless extensions sysfs files <*> Common routines for IEEE802.11 drivers [ ] lib80211 debugging messages Generic IEEE 802.11 Networking Stack (mac80211) Rate control algorithm selection ---> [ ] Enable mac80211 mesh networking (pre-802.11s) support [ ] Enable LED triggers [ ] Select mac80211 debugging features ---> Device Drivers ---> [*] Network device support ---> Wireless LAN ---> [ ] Wireless LAN (pre-802.11) [*] Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11) < > Marvell 8xxx Libertas WLAN driver support < > Marvell 8xxx Libertas WLAN driver support with thin firmwar < > Atmel at76c503/at76c505/at76c505a USB cards < > USB ZD1201 based Wireless device support < > Wireless RNDIS USB support < > Realtek 8187 and 8187B USB support < > Simulated radio testing tool for mac80211 < > Softmac Prism54 support < > Atheros AR9170 802.11n USB support < > IEEE 802.11 for Host AP (Prism2/2.5/3 and WEP/TKIP/CCMP) < > Broadcom 43xx wireless support (mac80211 stack) < > Broadcom 43xx-legacy wireless support (mac80211 stack) [M]ZyDAS ZD1211/ZD1211B USB-wireless support [*] ZyDAS ZD1211 debugging (NEW) [M]Ralink driver support ---> --- Ralink driver support < > Ralink rt2500 (USB) support [M]Ralink rt2501/rt73 (USB) support [*] Ralink debug output Input device support ---> -*- Generic input layer (needed for keyboard, mouse, ...) < > Support for memoryless force-feedback devices {M} Polled input device skeleton The above red part is the driver config for 321, and config it as module; Blue part is the driver config for 322, and we also config it as module.
