Description:
This is a simple yet perfect soil moisture sensor for automatically spinkler system.
When the soil is dry, the sensor output will decrease, otherwise it will increase. The sensor is gold plated to increase the live of this sensor.
To use it, simply increase into the soil where you want to monitor, and use ADC to read the output.
Specification:
- Voltage: 3.3V to 5V
- Current: max 45mA
- Output voltage: 0- 2.3V (2.3V is when the sensor is in water completely) under 5V power supply.
- Interface pins: pin 1 - signal, pin 2- GND, pin 3 - power supply positve
- Life: it can be used for about 1 year
- Size" 60 X 20 X 5mm
